We are seeking an Organist/Director of Music to work collaboratively to develop, promote, inspire and enhance
the musical tradition of our churches in their rural settings.
We see this as an opportunity for an early-career or more experienced church organist with proven musical ability
and good interpersonal skills.
The role is to:

Play the organ and direct the small SATB, robed, adult choir during Sunday services across the Group
(Weekly Sung Eucharist and monthly Evensong) plus other Holy Days, Festivals and occasional Offices.

Be ready and able to play and direct across the spectrum from traditional to contemporary (Tallis to Townend).

Lead weekly choir practices at St Peter’s Church East Bridgford.

Nurture the existing choir, whilst seeking ways to recruit and develop new members of all ages.
Remuneration will be based on qualifications and experience, in line with current RSCM recommendations and
with additional fees for special occasions.
